Parable Tanzania has been created as a social enterprise company registered in Tanzania in April 2010, based upon the same foundational principles of Parable Trust. This has grown out of the Gospel Group Of Tanzania  serving a community of nearly 200 people located in Mbeya, with a mission to care for orphans, widows and abused women. This community operates around 50 micro-businesses and is seeking to grow many more to support and transform the local community.  Parable Trust are providing advice and support to Parable Tanzania to acquire a lorry  to be shared by the community for business distribution, equipment to start a sewing co-operative and a farming co-operative, and training programmes have been started to help train the people.
